successful bankrobber, at one point robbing 3 closely located banks in succession, one-after-the-other. Slowly, he becomes more and more violent.
This film is very German in that there is very little emoting by the central character who, through the end, remains a cipher. All that we can know of him, we must discern from his actions--- or lack of them.
I found it a welcome break from the ceaseless emoting so endemic to crime films.
