I'm not sure why its getting acclaim or academy award nominations. Seems like a typical art film with a bunch of stuff cobbled together without a coherent storyline. Not sure why the main actress is getting a nomination either. She was fine but nothing more than kid stuff for the most part. This is basically a worse Monster's Ball.
