I avoided this film for a long time because I assumed I could not stomach the nature of its propaganda and fantasyland story. (Bin Laden died years before they made the claim they killed him.)
However, I thought it would be important to see.
One aspect of the film I felt was successful: portraying how absolutely insane and horrific are the acts of war.
Argo is a much better film, though also a propaganda piece (though not nearly as obscene).
I should have stuck with my old policy of avoiding all war movies.
