Just got around to seeing this because I (wrongly) assumed it would be a sappy chick-flick. Michelle Williams really was great as MM...in a role that must have been incredibly challenging; imagine trying to recreate (quite possibly still) the world's most famous woman. The other standout in this film was the always impressive Kenneth Branagh, who was a very convincing Sir Laurence Olivier. I didn't care much for the lead..Eddie Redmayne..but I enjoyed the film anyway. Sappy and overly sentimental it isn't.
