Romain Duris is not everyone's cup of tea, and this is his only dramatic role that I recall... he gets a passing grade, but the movie as the whole goes beyond his persona and supplies entertaining two hours of what is meant to be an insightful thriller.

You can do whole lot worse with those two hours. And Catherine Deneuve's appearance doesn't hurt either.
