and with the interesting and ubiquitous (of late) Sam Shepard AND an interesting, quirky character portrayed by the heretofore somewhat invisible Don Johnson.
Hall's character awakens one night to his lovely wife (Vinessa Shaw [yum]) shaking him that an intruder is in the home. He shoots the guy, dead, and his Pa, Sam Shepard, comes after him, threatening the shooter's young son, in direct eye-for-an-eye.
But there's more than meets the bulls-eye and things' get very grisly and gnarly before the truly violent denouement. Did I mention the snuff movie sub-plot?
