Over the last few days I saw three quite good films. Here are their names and a quick synopsis:1) "I am David"- I'm never quick to the game and this is no exception, from 2004 this is a little film with a big story. A boy escapes a Soviet era work camp in 1952 Bulgaria. Really well done.
2) "I am Divine"- a very good documentary about the complete life of Divine starting when he was a kid and on through to his death. Every key person in his life is interviewed and it is very thorough. I grew up in the Maryland suburbs of DC and saw all of John Waters films as a teen an on.
3) "Closed Circuit"- This film covers the trial of a terror suspect in Britain. The plot line is deeper than about any other film of the genre I've seen. It will keep you guessing so pay attention.....
