This isn't just a mindless killing machine at work. Washington is a guy who seems curious about evil itself. It was hard for me not to draw the conclusion that people tolerate such evil unnecessarily and that it must be harshly and inhumanly dealt with. I liked that the antagonist was carefully drawn, yet unlike in other films, he wasn't then made forgivable.
More so than Liam's latest, this one has a little thought and character development behind it.
