Maggie is a British treasure: I'm sure you've seen, "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie?" Anyhow, Netflix is a

wasteland; I'm considering dropping the streaming. I am not a fan of series; those I may find amusing can be seen when collected on DVD and available at the local library.
Typical Netflix story: last night, I sat down w/the wife to watch the Turkish film you recommended. It would not load. Everything else on my list would, but not that.
My list is only four films, now, and they're mostly convenience films that I could get at the library if I had to. I will, in the near future. Netflix, by committing to tv and ignoring the film world, has lost me.
I don't think I'll become a part of its "hard copy" customer base, either, since I've seen all the older films I want to and Netflix is buying VERY few newer foreign "art" films. Very few.
The glory days are over….
