Sumptuous cinematography captures the methodical movements of a well-known tailor in the city of Granada. People consider Carlos the best around and he also agrees to himself. But, Carlos has a small problem and that is a hunger for human flesh. The film takes us through his planning and execution of prey so that he can stock his freezer. One of his neighbors presents herself as available but Carlos demures until the moment when she can be added to his freezer. Next her sister, comes looking for her and decides to stay in the same apartment. It isn't long before love is in the air for Carlos who has seemingly gone forever without.
Structure, minimalist script, and a studied look at Carlos make this feel as if you are in the room with him. Save this one for an upcoming cold winter's night. Your sweetie will watch you closely for a week afterwords.
