Lovely photography but the over the top CGI action fests turned it literally into a Wiley Coyote cartoon.
Ridiculously over the top. WTF.
The can do these HUGE CGI SET PIECES so they do. They never think, 'should we make this as HUGE and RIDICULOUS as possible'?
And the answer is 'of course not'.
This has more in common with 'Transformers' than J.R.R. Tolkien.
Like I said, beautiful in spots, but a very disappointing movie.
