I think I know your tastes quite well - your objection to Breaking Bad comes from your revulsion for anything that in any way justifies or rationalizes criminal behaviour. In your world the bad guys are bad bad and the good guys are good good. You don't like it when there's a grey area of ambiguity. The problem is that those grey areas are where things get interesting. Vince Gilligan played with the viewer's emotions when it came to Walter White; one minute he was a figure of revulsion, the next you felt sorry for him. I can see why some people find that annoying.
