I can't believe I never watched it until now! It is about American gunboat on the Chinese river Yangtze, during the 20's turmoil-us rise of Nationalism in China.
It was one fine performance by Steve McQueen - for whoever believes he wasn't a true 'actor' but a presence.
It is on the Netflix streaming. Must see.
