and my own self marveled at how freekin accurately the area was depicted. The dark underbelly of Louisiana, a state where even the "overbelly" is sketchy at best, is perfectly rendered, without the usual Louisiana clichés, i.e., mardi gras, terrible French accents, gators growling, rowdy nightlife, racial intolerance, etc...
