I hope to find a video store with the selections/recommendations that I read about on this board - particulary from Victor, AndrewT, and other, far more involved, film enthusiasts than myself.When I first started visiting my current "independant" store, I thought, "finally, a store that caters to film buffs". Five years later, I've rented pretty much everything I care to watch - including what I "thought" was an outstanding HK selection. They've yet to acquire any of the movies recommended on this board. Perhaps they, too, are selling out.
After reading posts on this board of some wonderful sounding films, I wonder if I should begin my search again...
Thank God for IFC and Bravo.
