One of the lamest movies of recent decades. So much hype and so little delivery. The ending got me. I thought: "You kidding?" That's it? There was a lot of laughing going on as there seemed to be a college crowd there together that most had read the book.
Score one for the righteous old guy: Some kid one down from me started getting on my nerves with his cell phone. (I am just mystified that the younger generations think their lives and thoughts are so important that they must opine day and night to each other.) Then a never before opportunity happened --- I looked down and saw the movie on his phone at the beginning of a dungeon scene and he started to typing. I leaned down and said, in a calm parental tone : "How many laws are you breaking now?" He looked back at me as if he didn't hear me. I repeated then he straightened up and killed the phone. I hope he remembers the incident before somebody else gets him arrested and tortured by greedy-assed Hollywood lawyers.
