I have been curious about Scientology for years...I thought The Master did not really explain it, other than some insight into Hubbard...
This was extremely well made, engrossing from start to finish and really pulled the back curtain on Scientology...it was much worse than I imagined...really blew me away...
The rallies that they showed Tom Cruise at were just unbelievable...I kind of watched all a gasp as it unfolded...Cruise's ego burst through the roof of that 20,000+ seat arena...
From the military type uniforms, to saluting Hubbard's picture and giving Cruise some made up award of valor and service...very Neo-Nazi like...it was actually very disturbing to me...
David Miscavige is their supreme leader with this TV preacher persona, phony pleasant disposition, crazy ass look in his eyes and an ego equal to Cruise's...with major Napoleon syndrome...he would make a great Bond Villain...really really creepy...
The second half of the tittle of this movie is "the Prison of Belief". That pretty much sums it up.
In Scientology terms, I would be a SP, (Suppressive Person) and PT, (Potential Threat); you would need to "Disconnect" from me...
I am guessing they may lose their Tax Except status in the next few years, because of this film.
This gets 4.5 out of 5 stars...really good documentary film...
I have to run now and go get Audited, so I can purge all those Alien Souls trapped in my body...it is getting crowed in here...
Thanks
Mark
Check out the link...they are going to make these people pay who left Scientology and took part in this film...
