Nargis Fakhri...aka Lia...smoking bad spy...Kitchen Fight...
Went to this with my nephew, (who has Asperger's, high functioning, has a job, drives...but still thinks he is going to marry Katie Perry and make it in rock n roll)...
Once again BW...pretty much nailed it...I will just strip it down a little more...
Beautiful People = Dumb / Shallow / Rude
Normal People = Smart / Looked over / Kind Hearted...we are the little engines that could...given the opportunity...
Yes... for a celebrity obsessed society...Keeping up with the Narcissist's is a full time job...It is nice to see a fat female heroine beat up six guys...and her not as attractive side kick, female also, is actually quite refreshing...
The males are props in this...AND the males had allot of fun doing this...Statham hasn't been this good since Snatch...he was having a blast making fun of himself and the genre...
Dare I say...Jude Law had an "almost" Cary Grant type swagger in this one...
Bobby Cannavale is my new favorite over actor...I mean that in a good way...He nailed the boorish gangster in Boardwalk Empire...he plays big very well...greasy and rather dashing in this one...(fyi: He is married to Rose Byrne)
Peter Serafinowicz, who plays the constantly groping Italian spy helper...was the funniest of all the dudes...
3.5 stars out of 5...it is well written, big budget, female driven and good for people at the blunt of body shaming issues...see celebrity worship...
thanks
Mark
rotten tomatoes has this rated at 95...way to high...IMHO
