The influence Moriarty has over Holmes is integral to his addiction and why he moved to NY. The Moriarty character in Elementary is very different from the evil Victorian mastermind in the superb Granada series. The latter is the closest take on Doyle's sleuth we're ever likely to see, but both interpretations are excellent (the Moriarty in Elementary is just as cunning, perhaps more so, but cruel to Holmes in a totally different way). I can't say more without providing spoilers.

- The Moriarty character is brilliantly handled, but unlike any other interpretation. - Audiophilander 00:54:54 06/07/15 (0)
