Ahnold has made a come back. He has a large role in this one and even kicks his own ass. Of course, anything can happen, right?The movie opens with a brief goodbye to San Francisco then jumps right into it. In the beginning the script does an excellent job of explaining and catching everyone up as to what is going on....then, it gets a bit crazier.
The CGI is excellent as expected and we actually have character development for Ahnold, Conner, Reese, and Sarah. We get a nice dose of J K Simmons and the rest of the cast is good. One thing, we have a rather porky looking Emilia Clarke.
Tons of action require tons of popcorn and soda but not too much as this runs just over two hours. I attended the fist matinee and it was invaded by teams of 20-something guys. Definitely a testosterone affair.
All in all, this was pretty good in comparison to the others. Enjoy.
