it can lead to the Wizard of Oz ending, all just a dream. Which seemed to work for that movie, but would not in general be accepted.
Well, it has been quite probable for a long time that Mr. Robot was not a real physical human. Remember he just showed up at high security firm Allsafe, and then later when Elliot was being guarded by murderous thugs, he just showed up again on his stairs. I argued this point with my friend, who rightly pointed out some instances where Mr. Robot seemed to physically interact. But still, it seemed likely to me that he was some sort of delusion.
So yes, many if not most people saw this coming. So what is real and what is delusion? At this point, we cannot know.
So far, for me, they are walking this line with a lot of storytelling skill.
The big reveals last week had my friend calling me late at night. This is the kind of involvement that is rare with a TV show. And I thought the prison break with the ending for Shyla was about as tense and great as TV gets.
I think it's been a great season and I expect a pretty great final show next week. I have no idea where this can all go in season 2. But I will definitely be watching it.
