Excellent film, very good performances, be hearing more about it at Academy Awards time.
My wife's parents in Philly were the first serious Catholics I knew, in the early 1980s - her father went to Mass numerous times during the week and whenever she or any of her 7 brothers or sisters were home, they went to Mass on Sunday. She went to Catholic schools all the way through college.
The film was a little depressing since it was all true and the Cardinal responsible for the cover-up in Boston was promoted when it came out - when he should have been in jail.
There is a statistic that 6% of the Catholic Priests worldwide were child molesters - that's one out of every 16.
They preyed on the poor, fatherless and vulnerable young kids.
