The title was apt for the first version; point break meaning waves going either way, left or right, after breaking on a point of land. I interpreted it as metaphor for Utah's involvement. If little or no surfing in this one, then the metaphor gets filed away with the 1991 version.
Bank robbers with consciences can work, but this case sounds like a total drag.
