Egad, the trailers were on it. This is one cold flick. Creepy cold. Took me all night to warm up.
The title is apt. That guy (DiCaprio) was walking dead, but walking. Enough giveaway. See this one.The filming alone is worth the cash. Most beautiful shooting I've seen. Couldn't quite place where it was, but felt several times that it looked like familiar territory -- and then it didn't. Credits showed that it was shot everywhere from Patagonia to Montana to Canada to California. No matter, its great footage.
Hardy and Leo do their usual Academy-worthy acting, and I hope they got BIG paydays for this one. This was blue-collar work, and I mean cold blue.
Now I've gotta go find some hot coffee.
