Henry awakens while being assembled by his scientist wife, Estelle. No sooner than complete she places a wedding ring on his hand then all hell breaks loose as intruders shoot their way into the lab. This sets in motion a highly-charged action (near zero plot) film of first person violence that contains much blood and some humor.
Plot? Henry is compelled to find his kidnapped wife and "Jimmy" helps to guide him to her. Jimmy appears, gets killed, and reappears two scenes later in a different guise. The film is like a strong video game for teens until Henry's quest leads him to an underground Russian brothel. Henry and Jimmy are surrounded throngs of female anatomy that surpasses all cleavage. All is fun until the enemy arrives and the inevitable shootout begins.
Being shot mostly in Moscow and the surrounding area the film has some interesting locales--gritty locales. The stunts are commendable and the action is so sustained that it begins to bore need the end. A teen would probably eat up every moment (especially the brothel) and not be bored.
This this is a good-looking film but not good enough to garner a walk-in. If you even bother, you wait for cable. But, don't let Henry find out as he may come see you.
PS. Interesting opening credits that sets the tone for violence and spurting red stuff. No Easter Eggs.
