Another Red Box stocking stuffer from the Paz brothers in Israel. This film is about two life-long girl friends going on vacation in Israel. On the plane they meet a young, mysterious anthropologist who talks the girls out of staying in Tel Aviv and touring Jerusalem with him. They end up in the Muslim sector staying in a hostel and start wandering around the Old City. (You get to see the all the high spots.) Once they start touring an ancient tunnel under the city the anthro discovers ominous signs on the walls. Cutting to the chase: That night all "hell" breaks loose with harpies and Nephilim and the Old City begins to rock and roll with terror.I got a kick out of this because the Old City was so well filmed as the "kids" ran recklessly through it before the evil began. Yael Grobglas provides a bit of French-born Jewish beauty while her friend, Danielle Jadelyn, not so much.
Lots of fun, at first, then lots of running and screaming with religious bickering even in the face of the gate of Hell opening. I like such silliness but you probably won't. Just skip it.
