Imagine a world where everyone must be paired up or turned into an animal. Well, that's what this imaginary City is like. Poor Colin Farrell lost his wife and has been sent to "the hotel" where he must find a romantic connection within 45 days or be turned into an animal and set loose in its natural habitat.
The hotel is located outside the city and surrounded by woods where "the runners" live and hide. These are the people who escaped the hotel but are hunted weekly by the hotel "guests" in order to be transformed against their wishes.
This film is very tongue-in-cheek dry. You have to be a raving Anglophile to enjoy it at its best. Interesting characters, great production values, and veddy off beat.
