What is this so-called "based on a true story" film trying to be? It starts out like a comedy but at some point gets tense when people start getting hurt. It was unfunny and unreal most of the time. For this to be true I think I want to see vetting documents.
I'm a fan of both Jonah and Miles (I have no reason to be) and found that Miles got the best part by being a hapless guy (with a wife and baby) who was exposed to harm's way by a seemingly best friend from the past. Jonah was the porcine con-man who took in Miles and led him astray with big bucks and an exciting life.
Supposedly, these two were the youngest guys to ever win the bid on the biggest single purchase of arms and ammo to supply the Afghan army. It starts out like a "buddy road picture" but soon turns into a situation with real consequences. This film was probably not given the direction it needed: to either be a comedy or a drama.
Not much to see. Use your cable for porn not this thing.
