This is a documentary actually but it's good enough to be a movie, if you get what I mean, I loved it. It's about Clark Terry in his later years, he begins to lose his vision and meets a young Justin Cauflin a budding pianist who happens to already be blind. They develop a beautiful friendship as Clark helps Justin with his music and Justin supports Clark with his fight with Diabetes. Real life better than a script. You find out a lot about Terry, he was born in St. Louis, he taught Quincy Jones, etc.
I highly recommend you see this. I watched it at a friend's house who got it on Netflix but I'm sure you can find it on disc or other streaming services.
Hopefully you are aware of the legendary Clark Terry, and Justin Cauflin has performances on YOUTube
