Personally, I avoid almost any movie that is nominated for an Oscar.
La La Land being a prime example.
Whenever Hollywood pats itself on the back with an awards show, I ALWAYS find something else to watch as I usually find their choice of good movies to conflict with mine.
A bigger pack of ignorant, narcissistic, blow hards is impossible to find, IMHO.
