I saw the thing, thought it was entertaining, a big can of corn style product , with some story problems. I did take care to go on a discount day, my investment was $6.50. I pretty much knew what I was signing up for, and, while hoping for a surprise, didn't want to waste money on average product that comes and goes.
I still can't figure if the villain was hampered by trying to make the plot believable or just turned in a bad performance. Not many poor actors get big roles, unless they are movie star pretty. So I guess it was the story and editing.
I thought it a poor choice for a family movie, because of the unneeded violence, but I saw families in the crowd. They use violence to quickly establish this guy as the villain, but later, in the indiana jones style booby traps, they are working together, then they aren't. The guy threatens to put a bullet in her fathers head, yet they cooperate in the tomb struggle scenes.
The most telling thing about the movie was a second ending that goes into a deluxe sequence about the next story.
