and a very entertaining and fun rampage. Dwayne does his thing as upscale zookeeper and former Special Forces/killer of all things. He tends George the gorilla and all is well until an experimental space station breaks apart and rains CRISPR pathogens that land in three different areas. George just happens to be one of the lucky victims of this science project gone mad and soon begins to grow expotentially after exposure. Oh yeah, his attitude gets a bit irritable, also.
So, Dwayne meets up with Moneypenny and later Neegan. Harris is a genetic scientist who puts in a very good performance despite the story and Morgan does Neegan for the most part. (He should have been paid half-scale.) BUT, that's not what this is about.
The CGI was good but not perfect. Although, the three effected critters were involved in "high action" and mayhem throughout downtown Chicago and it looked good. Lots of chomping and building smashing. We even got to see Ackerman eaten and her idiot brother squished.
Action and CGI is the point. Fun, violent, maybe not for kids.
3 wonks
1 wank for the CGI not being as good as PotA's
PS. Big tease for the (hopefully) new Bronco.
