There was something in the content of the email that caused my Mail reader to send it to the Junk inbox.
Who says that these readers aren't smart? In a way, the email really was junk.
The new owners, AT&T apparently didn't like the profit margin for Filmstruck. There was no indication that Filmstruck didn't make money - just not enough.
