Watched it last night on AMC. Drummer Girl is the only John LeCarre novel that failed to hold my attention, and the film is the same. I don't like the characters, especially the female lead, and the plot seems a tired rehash.
I turned it off early. This is serialized over three (long) episodes, long because of course AMC isn't foregoing commercials. I don't know if I will return to it tonight.
