How the frack are the performances in Vertigo terrible???

I don't really like Rebecca because it starts out as a slow-moving ghost story and then becomes a silly crime caper.

Rope is plodding because it all happens in real time, and there's no suspense to speak of.

Notorious is good - it would be my number 11.
