It does appear to have very good production values. In some ways, it does vaguely remind me of B5....but not in any overt specific I can identify.
The latest episode (104) has much action and is the payoff for having watched episodes 101 thru 103.
The world of Expanse; Not particularly pretty. Central characters...not particularly pretty. That part is reminiscent of B5. So far we've met only humanoids. Though the ones aboard the ship that torpedoed the Canterbury are still a mystery. Now in episode 104 (CQB) we get another glimpse of them. Apparently they have a battle technology far in advance of any possessed by Earth or thoe humans that have settled Mars.
Is war between Earth and Mars just about to break out?
I guess we'll need to tune in for episode 105 to find out more.
Pretty good stuff.
