It WASN'T the fame. She appeared to be heading towards that outcome no matter what. Appears to be her upbringing/disposition.
Yes, she was UGLY. But NOT AFRAID of the camera much. Good for her (except for the drugs).
I found the portrayal captivating at a number of levels, but especially liked their captions of the actual words because she is really hard to understand when she speaks!
