I like the judgements here better than from the paid pros.

But some writings have provided background info on this flick. I read a lot of comic books when I was a kid, and Superman and Batman were pals. So what gives? As Billy indicated, its a jealousy thing. Petty teeny-bop behavior from guys who can destroy civilization? Still, what gives?

It seems that this studio/franchise/whatever was looking for a mechanism to jumpstart a DC Comics series of lucrative megaflicks like Marvel Comics is currently enjoying. They want in on the action, so to speak.

I don't now if most Marvel-based movies have enjoyed any better reviews, but this one appears to need a few more amps in its jumpstart. Besides, they ain't got no Thor or Hulk working for them. Stan Lee rules.
