Not much is wrong with that, I was more interested in the personal story of the other aviator. It was a success story by Soviet standards: for instance, his family was given a one-bedroom apartment in Moscow. And he was also allowed to fly - he even flew the supersonic Tu-144 (the Concorde's rival). But eventually he was pushed out.
