Peter Jacksons WWI documentary They Shall Not Grow Old pays homage to the resilience of soldiers in WWI while showing the absolute horror of war. The restored footage was breathtaking - while the actual voices of WWI soldiers narrated their experiences.
My understanding the theatrical run was limited. In any event, if you can see it, stick around for the "special features" at the end.
