is a pretty good SVHS vcr for $110 + shipping. I just bought it for the SVHS-ET feature. It also has a fast rewind and fast forward. I also have a Panasonic 7560 SVHS vcr which is several years old and has much better picture quality. However, for the price and the taping I do, its definitely worth it.On the S-video connection question, using the s-video connection is superior to composite. I find the blacks are much better with s-video even using a cheapie cable than compared to a good 75 ohm composite cable.
