I am more of a listener than a watcher, but I was attempting to dub my copy of O Brother to tape to give my inlaws, who are dvd-less.No matter what I did I could only get an audio signal. This is only the second time that I've tried to do this, and I got the same result last time. Everything has been disconnected and reconnected several time since my last fiasco. I have an old laser disc player, and there is no problem in making copies from it.
Have I run into some copy protection circuitry? I have an old JVC S-VHS (S outs only, no S in), a Technichs dvd, and a Denon AVS-3000 integrated amp. (Model #s in inmate systems, not in my head)
