Although Harman/Kardon makes some of the best sounding and most powerful receivers on the market, you really need a separate amp for Martin Logans, as they dip down very low. Even a mid-fi amp from NAD, Rotel, B&K, Parasound, ATI, etc. would be a huge improvement over a receiver.
