I recently retrieved my old turntable from storage. It's an old Technics Linear tracking table (PL25F) with an Audio-technica vs245LP cartridge. This is a very low use table and it is in excellent condition. I think it's time for the stylus to be replaced in any case.
Is it worth upgrading the cartridge? Or should I just forget it and upgrade the whole package instead?
