I bought mine in 1985. Still works beautifully, no repairs needed.
It was "top of the line" back then.My original remote also died. Most of its functions are now filled
by a very standard cheap (US$10) RCA universal remote.The only thing I miss is S-video, not present on this set. That was
introduced later. It does have a form of RGB input, however I don't
think it is compatible with present gear in that respect.I really like the multi-input switching, two composite inputs,
four "video" inputs, independent sound input-output - this set was
ahead of its time for simple home theatre.Elliott Moore
