Benny & Joon

216.188.53.174

My wife bought a copy of the movie the other day, and I quote verbatim from the blurb:

"The widescreen version of this MGM DVD has been encoded to take full advantage of high-resolution "widescreen" television sets. When viewed on this type of television, the films picture resolution will be significantly increased."

Is the BULL, or what? and what IS "significantly increased" mean, if there IS some truth to this?

I have a Sony HD widescreen set, I bet there is absolutely NO difference!

Tesla
