Just rented from Netflix, it's in 2.35:1. Some of the older classics, such as Lawrence of Arabia and Ben Hur, also tend to be ultrawidescreen. Was seen by Hollywood moguls as a way to set movies apart from the new competition of color TV and its 1.33:1 aspect ratio . . .
