That would help explain the popularity of those crappy "Home theater in a box" systems. Most receivers sold from the mid to late 90s were at least Dolby Pro Logic. I would guess the 20% would be mostly a) the hard-core audiophiles who don't want to mar their precious two-channel systems or b) people upgrading from VCRs who don't have the money to buy a 5.1 system -- yet . . .
