Brand new. When watching DVDs the sub makes a random electronic sounding pop. It's a very high-pitched sound for a sub. It doesn't do it when playing heavy bass. It does it more during scenes that are lacking bass. I have played around with the bass volume setting on the receiver and the rear sub volume knob. It still does it. Is this an issue with this model Home Theater in a Box? Does anyone have any suggestions on things to try before returning it? All my cords are on top of each other. I haven't seperated them yet, but I seriously doubt they would cause random interferance like this. It isn't a mechanical sound, like a rattling cone. It sounds like it's outputting a techno-music-ish electronic sound. THanks for any advice.
