recently moved house, so i'm living out of boxes while i paint and plumb and fix things up. had to get the table stand 'cause there's a big, freakin' brick fireplace where any sane person would wall mount the plasma...wife say's i'm forbidden to give it the "Edgar Allan Poe" treatment and mount the plasma over the "new wall".yes it's still dazzlingly marvelous. no there arent' any dead pixells or burnout haze/lines. i got the 24" oval satellite dish installed (they did it for free, and paid for all the hardware!) so i can get all three satellites...the HDTV HBO programing and the HD network. haven't yet been into the attic to install the UHF antenna for the off-the-air HDTV stations--it's been too freakin' hot!
i see the set i bought just a few months ago is now selling for $1100 less than what I paid...
the horror...
buy Christmas it will be a blue light special at the Big K for $99.95

weird thing is, i haven't unpacked the hi-fi gear and don't know when or even if, i ever will. what is there...$40 or $50 thousand in those boxes?? i don't even want to know...such a waste.
enjoying my KLH 200 table radio so much...sometime i wonder if we are not all insane....
